Garniture Cie des Bronzes in Lille

Louis XV fireplace insert in gilded bronze and patinated bronze. The clock, in the form of a cartel, is supported by 4 dolphin heads, decorated with shells, seaweed braids and surmounted by an angel blowing in a sea horn, seated on a dolphin. The carving is very well made. The movement has an anchor suspension, striking every hour and a half;

perfect working condition.

The dial is signed: “Compagnie des bronzes à Lille” In 1878, the Company won a gold medal at the Universal Exhibition in Paris.

The candelabra present on a scalloped and openwork rockery base, two putti each supporting two fires.
